Tony Bowater celebrates 40 years of service with the Bowater Motor Group

24th April 1985 was the official start day at the family firm for a young Tony Bowater. On Thursday 24th April 2025 we held a surprise morning tea for Tony to celebrate his 40 years of dedicated service. Several sides of the family attended to acknowledge this significant achievement, and rounds of the team from Bowater Toyota rolled through to shake his hand and participate in such a momentous occasion. 

The surprise morning tea was genuinely a surprise to him, which is no easy task as he is so aware of everything that goes on across all of the businesses. Janine, Tony's wife, did an excellent job pulling it all together and baking up a storm in secret to provide a fantastic spread for all that attended. We even managed to dredge the archives and print out 20 photos of highlights from across the decades, which was a great opportunity to look across time, and have a laugh or two.
