Jan 15 Jayne leaves the radio behind to join our team

After a couple of years of being our local Radio Station advertising account manager at The Radio Network, Jayne Collier decided to unleash her passion for cars and come join the friendly team at Bowater Toyota.

She has started this week as our new salesperson in our Nelson branch, and is very excited to be able to share her enthusiam for motoring.
Jayne has always had a great love of cars, having grown up in a staunchly Toyota motoring family. Her father would only ever buy Toyota's and instilled the same brand loyalty into Jayne.

With the launch of the Toyota 86 the attraction to start as a salesperson became too great Jayne jokes, saying that joining the team was the only way Bowater Toyota CEO Tony Bowater would let her drive it!

It has been an easier transition than most as she already has got a firm grasp on the ins and outs of the Bowater Toyota way of doing things from her years of working closely with the business as our radio advertising account manager for the Bowater Motor Group. She has jumped straight in and has immersed herself in the exciting range that Toyota offers.

Jayne has lived in Nelson since 2002, and enjoys living in Nelson as it is the perfect place to raise her teenage son.

"Having previously lived in many cities over the world, Nelson brings it's own charm. It is safe and we can live close to schools and town and not have to do marathon commutes. We just love it here".

She also finds the Bowater Motor Group's dedication to family values appealing.

"Raising a child in a single parent family you certainly appreciate working for companies that understand and value the concepts of family"

 Jayne feels that it is an exciting time in the motoring industry, and is keen to share her enthusiasm.
